This authentic Navajo Horsehair Ornament was created by the Artist Victoria Tsosie. This type of ornament is made by using real horsehair to the finished pottery. A layer of the hair is evenly spread over the top, as soon as the ceramic pot has been fired. Once the design has been finalized, the piece is wiped with a matte glaze finish. The design for this product has a murky blue to green gradient. This pottery was made to be an ornament for your holiday collection.
